This is a story about Detective David Wayne Loki, a character from the 2013 movie the "Prisoners" (played by the American actor Jake Gyllenhaal) who became famous for rescuing a girl and his father, who had been abducted by a mad woman in the community of Conyers, Pennsylvania. He continued with which he considered a normal life until he met a mysterious woman who led him to the peak of his career as a police detective and eventually made himself a prisoner's prisoner.

Reader moves to a small town to take a job working in the towns police department, during the time working and helping on the case lead by Detective Loki, Reader can't help but feel something for the usually quiet detective.
