The Eighth Air Force's 100th Bomb Group was better known as 'The Bloody 100th'. It was nicknamed as such due to the devastating number of casualties suffered in its first mission in 1943, after America joined Britain and her allies in defeating the Axis Powers. Cecilia Green had a rotation of nicknames that those around her loved to call her: Cecilia, Ceci, Blue, Nurse Green, Captain. To the Air Force, she was affectionately known as a 'Winged Angel'. Allison Brunei is a Canadian who volunteered to help the war. She was trained as a nurse, then trained to fly war planes in case of emergencies as she is a flight nurse. She was placed with the 305th bomb group until she was moved to the 100th bomb group as she was needed there. That's where she met Major John "Bucky" Egan.

Bailey looked back up at him. "Oh my god, your Superman." She said. He put his feet on the ground and put his glasses back on. "It's kinda cool, right?" Clark asked and she tilted her head.
