Controversial is a story between the characters of My Hero Academia. The main focus is on the most hated or loved ships in the show, hence the title of the story. The story follows the path of the innocent Ochako Uraraka and the determined Katsuki Bakugou. Will this questionable relationship become more than just a rivalry(?)? "Who says I'm just a rebound?" Ochako Uraraka has been through it all in the concept of basketball; pride, losses, rejection, and coursing on a ride of her emotions with blood, sweat and tears. She's finally proved everyone wrong, or so she thinks, after accepting a full-ride scholarship to a division 2 university straight out of high school. She's figured it out, her plan for the next four years until after her first year experience she gets thrown, chewed and spit back with the insult from her coach; "We're letting you go, you're too weak. Maybe we'll look into it after you, y'know, get a different experience... maybe at a community college. It's not your skill, it's just that your body is too small, we don't want to be responsible for major injuries. You won't play next year, you're more of a rebound kinda player, get it?" Ochako decides that was the last straw, retiring from her dreams and accepting that the big league wasn't made for her, but after the next year she gets a recruiting offer, and she's not going to let that slip away, not from a university with one of the most historical Basketball programs to exist. Well, at least the men's team. Maybe she'll change the women's team, but not without meeting a player on the men's team she's watched on TV in the finals before, Katsuki Bakugou. -Partially based on author's experience
