Richard Steel was a misunderstood man who spent his life catching murderers, falling over, and avoiding all kinds of women to the best of his ability. He was awkward, clumsy and uptight – hard to get along with, apparently. He simply didn’t understand people, and people didn’t understand him. Clare Brent was Richard's complete opposite - a confident, cheerful, and extremely giggly woman creature. She was up for taking risks, breaking rules and just being a little bit naughty.
