Brendon Urie is not doing too well, to put it lightly. Sure, his perfect grades and praise from everyone he ever met had set him on a path of impressively unfathomable greatness. Josh and Tyler are proud too, even if they won't let him help with the treehouse- Brendon may be smart, but he's not the best at making things with his own two hands. The claim is proven as soon as he is allowed to help put up a simplistic tire swing... and ends up in the hospital. And that's when he meets the boy wandering down the hallway at night, the one that doesn't see the light illuminating the hallway obstacles, the one that runs into the vending machine twice before realizing it's there, searching the floor with foggy sapphire blue eyes. Falling for someone going blind shouldn't be that difficult, right? _______ Originally by @crossroadsfandomdeal

Brendon is struggling, to say the least. Life is hard enough trying to keep a city under control, and it just gets worse when decimated bodies keep popping up in secluded alleyways. All the while, he tries to juggle his personal life, the media, and a (un)stable mentality. Just to make things even better, he has an entirely new team to recruit and train under the watchful eye of the city. And to tie it all together, there's an empty grave in the cemetery. Brendon Urie has two accounts on instagram. A personal account that's semi-popular, mostly followed by school friends and other people. And then he has a fan account for the band Finish Ticket which is dedicated to posts about his crush well known to over 17,000 people (that could really care less about Finish Ticket.)

I write whenever I can and publish just the same, but the occasional 1/10 actually ends up becoming a full length and published story. These are the drafts I didn't finish or didn't feel right with. All written with the same pairing for no reason? Feel free to take ideas or whatnot. I can expand on them for you but just. Credit me. Whatever. I don't care.

Dallon Weekes hates flowers. He also coincidentally owns a flower shop, which will look great on his college application letters (which he's sent in to many schools and has received absolutely no feedback whatsoever, from anybody). He's swimming in debt with only a flower shop to provide income, so long story short things aren't going as well as he'd planned. But the guy hellbent on revenge for his cheating ex with poison ivy in his pockets might convince him that it's okay. And Brendon Urie just got cheated on. His (ex) partner is allergic to flowers, which he plans to throw through his bedroom window (since he lives right next to him), and the best flower shop around, according to Google, is Dallon's. He's not sure how he's going to break a window with a plastic case full of flowers and poison ivy, but as soon as Dallon moves in down the street, there's no harm in missing if it means he gets to see him again.

"Is it an apocalypse or nihilism on your lips?" At eighteen, you develop one ability, whether it be flight or power over hair growth, selective immortality or whatever weird skill your dad's dad's had. Brendon was lucky enough to be one of the few with telekinesis, but unlucky enough to have it be inherited from his jerk of a father who's more focused on taking care of a city than his own family. Alone in his new discovery, the only person he can confide in is his best friend, who has enough problems of his own. Dallon was unlucky enough to discover he was given the same abilities as his father, who was killed fifteen years ago after losing his sanity and trying to annihilate half the city. He's lucky enough to have any power he chooses, as long as nobody finds out. The problem is, a ship floats away with no anchor, there is no control without a rock. And they're about to find out the hard way.

It's generally pretty easy to tell if someone is a psychopath - unless they're a good actor, and Dallon is just that.
