The two of them have seen their fair share of casualties. The teasing comments, endless flirting (on Poe's part), and the dedication to their work helps guide them through one of the most unstable times in the galaxy. Learning to lean on one another for support, the doctor and commander navigate their growing relationship in the hopes that they are able to live long enough to see the Resistance overcome the constant threats it faces. *Everything belongs to the StarWars series except my characters and elements to the plot*

It's sometimes the ones that we know the least that influence us the most. With Elise she holds her pride within her kingdom, but when her kingdom is being taken over by the First Order she feels as she is left with no hope. Working as a mechanic for the Resistance was never supposed to be easy. The risks were at the back of everyone's mind, between the rising first order and loom of war over their heads everyone was on edge, any day could be their last. But what wasn't supposed to be a problem was him, or rather, the feelings that were beginning to arise in his presence. They called him the best pilot in the resistance, perhaps even the galaxy, but he'd never look her way...right? (Set just before The Force Awakens, Sola, a droid mechanic new to the Resistance stumbles into Poe on the first day at the base. From then on she just seems to keep running into him, totally by accident of course. The story will follow along side the movies but focus on the time at base/in between what happens in the movies from a new perspective. It's a slow burn romantic fic, with all the fluffy tropes, mention of blood, war, injuries, assault, death as well as panic attacks/anxiety so please remember this when reading if you are sensitive. I apologise for any mistakes with grammar or Star Wars Lore/Facts, I'm trying my best to stick to Canon information so if I got anything wrong feel free to correct me respectfully. Baring in mind this is from the perspective of an original character who also possess limited knowledge of certain areas. I appreciate all feedback and comments and hope you enjoy!)

Serer was a padawan of Luke Skywalker, training to be a Jedi Knight. She had known Ben Solo well from their time training together, up until the very day that he had slaughtered everyone, except her. She never understood why she was left unharmed, but was grateful she had been. Luke had taken Serer to Endor as though to complete her training. After he had done so, Luke had vanished, leaving Serer to fend for herself as a new Jedi Knight. The years had passed and word was passed of the last Jedi Knight living within the forests of Endor. Kylo Ren, believing Luke Skywalker to still be with Serer, took her with him as though to obtain any information she possessed of Luke's whereabouts. Little did he know that for her he would soon feel compassion. Poe Dameron, the Resistance's best pilot, is sent by General Leia Organa to retrieve the girl from Star Killer Base. After doing so, the duo take on the hardships of the galaxy and soon fall in love. Can their fears, however, tear them apart? Would Serer be seduced to the dark side by Kylo Ren, or continue her path to the light with Poe Dameron?

Jaina Solo, is the daughter of Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa. She is as strong with the force as her twin brother, Ben. While training with their uncle, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, Ben betrays the Jedi order to become Kylo Ren - Master of the Knights of Ren. She narrowly escapes his genocide of the new Jedi order. As Luke disappears so does her chance to hone her powers and become a Jedi. Now apart of the Resistance, she reunites with her parents to find Luke and bring down the sinister First Order. She also meets the dashing pilot Poe Dameron, who makes her feel whole again. Will their budding romance ruin her dreams of becoming a Jedi? Will she be able save her brother from the clutches of Supreme Leader Snoke? *I do not own any of these characters. The story is one I've been working on after watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens - which if you haven't seen yet you definitely should... It's amazing! Please don't yell at me if I don't follow the star wars canon correctly or completely. I'm just a Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron fangirl.
