Chapter One of a story I started. I'm only posting chapter one to get some feedback so I can see what works and what doesn't. It was a normal assignment: "parent" an egg for two weeks to learn about responsibility. For Kyle, however, the end of the assignment brings about a whole new beginning.

By his blade, pointless. Yet, to sentenced the guilty... For it is Ghen who is cursed... As his right arm, cursed by the appearance of a black phantom limb, and, with his right eye, along gouged of sight; has had succumbed his daughter into a cold and deep sleep of nonexistence... By it were along ten years bygone then it was during by an unexpected betrayal, under the orders of his own king, was it then that Ghen had then firmly believed of the legend. Of a legend known as... called the Host of the Curse... Where across out toward, for toward the Side East of the seas, midst the Lands of Outer, as there hears of a being which is rumoured to exist upon in a mysterious island. Of an island, that is riddled in of ruin and of shadows... too a blight lives amongst the darkness. And too steeped in its shadows and of its desolate past, from lays the skull of an immortal yet diminished dragon named Panamex. Together, for they would venture through this island's seemingly desolate world, in hopes of ending the Curse, to awaken Ayu, that then would freed her from within the binds of her sleep... For new bodies to have formed, as the sun, lost in a shroud of the overcast world, and as the Curse phases of an uncertainty... Discover an island, that is be plotted here of shadows and in darknesses, lost light, hidden foes and a secret... that would plunge life within the depths of reality, and revelation...
