In John 11, there's a story about Lazarus, a guy that we all might be familiar with. From the scriptures, we know that Jesus loved Lazarus. There are many lessons we can get from that passage of scripture and what stuck out the most for me is the phrase, "grave clothes". Lazarus had died for a few days and when he arose, he came out in his grave clothes. The clothes that represented his sickness. The clothes that represented early demise. The clothes that represented stuff that wasn't comfortable. And many times, we come to God with so much baggage and we live our entire Christian lives in our grave clothes. Jesus commanded that Lazarus's grave clothes be loosed. Lazarus came out bound and chained. How many of us are still linked to our past? How many of us are still carrying the weight of sin and guilt that Jesus came to die for? In this book, we'll discover what it means to live in freedom.

Mark portrays Jesus as a Servant on the move, instantly responsive to the will of the Father. By preaching, teaching, and healing, He ministers to the needs of others even to the point of death. It is written primarily for unbelievers , and you quickly notice its vivid, dramatic and emotional style. It is a gripping page turner, hard to put down once started. This book is a personal devotional of my study on Jesus. We won't all see things in the same way, but most of what is written is something that resonated with me as God led me. It's in this book of Mark that most of the miracles that Jesus performed are recorded. Mark focuses more on what Jesus did than what He said as compared to the gospels of Luke and Mathew.

The most wonderful description of the Holy Spirit I have ever read in my bible is that of Comforter. I never understood much about Him. Neither did I have any intimacy with Him. The Holy Spirit was this mystical being that had incredible power. Of course, He does has power. In fact, He is the power of God. And yet, He has a personality just like we do. He is sensitive, just like we are. I never read anywhere where I was told not to grieve the Father or the Son, but the Scriptures do tell us not to grieve the Holy Spirit. He is special. He is innocent. And He yearns to have fellowship with us. Who is the Holy Spirit? Where does He dwell and what does He do in the life of the Believer? These are some of the questions we'll discover together as we meditate upon this book. And if there's anything you should take way from this reading, it's that, He is the Comforter.

I always wondered why some people believed in prayer a little more than others. Was it something they did that other people didn't do? Or maybe prayer is only for specific people? I have only been a Christian for 6 years and in the 6 years I have been Christian, there is nothing that has helped me more than the power of prayer. Prayer works and when we learn about the power that is found in communing with the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit, we'll do it more. In this book, I am going to share the power that prayer produces, especially when we pray for one anther. I write it in a way that makes us understand the intercessory part of prayer and what God wants us to do when we go through our trying moments.

In this daily devotional, I share my personal quiet time study notes. The only thing that makes me whole is studying the word of God. Jesus wants each and everyone one of us to know Him and to grow in Him. Studying His word reveals His nature, His mercy, His kindness and His love. My prayer is for us to know Jesus and to know Him to the fullest capacity. I do pray that this devotional stirs up your hunger for Jesus. Book 2

In this book I answer a few questions that I am usually asked and I tell a little story about who I am. I joined Wattpad primarily to win people to Christ and to have fellowship with other Christians who love God. I realize that we need to have fellowship with one another. The disciples were always together. They ate together. Prayed together and studied the word of God together. I pray you'd be encouraged to become a part of my wonderful family : @AfterGodsOwnHeart11

The world was full of trouble. Full of confusion and a catastrophic dilemma. One couldn't imagine at what destructive measure it would disintegrate into. While so many things were done to make the world a better place. At some point, it would later be revealed that the biggest problem was not a lack of educational facilities or a lack of health facilities. Believe it or not, Africa, also wasn't the world's biggest problem. The problem with the world today is sin. Sin brought about problems that would perpetuate into many more generations to come! It's almost unbelievable that someone would leave greener pastures to settle in a beat-down environment like Earth. One would wonder what this being could ever want. If life existed beyond the surfaces of our universe, why stay? If there was the possibility of walking with a glory that outshined the brightness of the sun, why hesitate? God cannot love us anymore than He loves our neighbor. His love tank is so vast that it accommodates everyone. Had He only sent Jesus Christ to the rich or the poor in African households, His love would then be conditioned to those that qualified. What makes His love so unique and strange is that He loves the broken and the sinners. He loves those of us that are unlikeable and unattractive. He persuaded His only son to die gruesomely to have all of mankind at His bosom. In the movies, opening doors and buying a bouquet of flowers is symbolic of love. In families, love is expressed in many different kind of forms. Even animals have ways in which they show affection. While all of that might stand out. It cannot be compared to the love of God. God can feel love, and He is love!

A not too often talked about concept within the Bible would be concerning DNA and a "pure" human gene pool. To those who either aren't familiar with the Bible or are and haven't looked deeply into what it says, this idea might be a first for you, but the Bible does in fact talk about genetic manipulation and the consequences of it. So let's take a look into what really caused the flood and if there was greater purpose to the judgement. In this study, I'll be examining 4 aspects to this story: 1) DNA manipulation ("seed" war) 2) God's mercy in the judgement 3) The first prophecy in the Bible and the promise for a messiah 4) Why should we care about this? "As it was in the days of Noah..."
