Deadly assassins Allegra and Ace have been trying in vain to kill each other for years. With a mutual enemy threatening their mafias, they find themselves in an unexpected alliance, and soon discover killing each other isn't the only temptation they need to resist... ****** Allegra Grey is poised to be the next great American mafia leader, and she's more than living up to the name. A skilled assassin, there's only one target who's ever gotten away from her-suave, sinfully handsome Ace De Luca, heir to the Italian mafia and the Greys' biggest rival. When both mafias are faced with a dangerous threat, they're forced to work together to protect their families, and unexpected sparks fly. Allegra definitely isn't one to sleep with the enemy, especially an arrogant womanizer like Ace. But there's an undeniable electricity between them and Allegra's not sure it's all hatred. Ace may be bad news, but Allegra's never been afraid of a little danger. As the fire they're playing with grows to a scorching blaze, one thing is clear: trying to kill each other may have been difficult, but resisting this intense chemistry will be impossible. (Zuko x OC) Anika never wanted to be a firebender. She was a curse on her tribe, a bitter reminder of the violent attacks on her people. She carefully kept her powers bottled up inside until she stumbled upon a person who ignited the fire of her bending-and her heart. ~~~~~~~~~~~ I obviously don't own any part of the Avatar universe or the characters in it. 16+ for heavy themes, violence, some language, and romantic situations

(On hold until further notice) (Having a motivation block, I'll return to writing this book when I'm motivated again.) Shin-ah X Reader My name is (Y/N) and I am a Wolf Shifter. For years I have been the loyal companion of Princess Yona and am bound to her by the Sacred Bond. 16 years ago I was found as a wolf pup, alone and abandoned by my mother for reasons still unknown. The person who found me was non other than King Il himself. He took me in and cared for me until I was strong enough to move around freely. I was introduced to his daughter, Princess Yona, who was only a baby at the time and I instantly felt a connection with the child, staying by her side. King Il was a kind man and hated the idea of violence. He refused to hold a weapon and vowed to never let his daughter come into contact with one. He however, still wanted her to have protection, which brought him to the idea of a Sacred Bond. He brought in his personal sharmen and had her bound me to the young Princess by the name, (W/N). My connection with the Princess grew and her master symbol became visible on her right hand at the age of 6. From then on she wore a glove, stating the symbol was ugly and unbefitting of her beautiful skin. This angered me greatly and I began to disobey her orders often, only obeying when it benefited myself. I am 17 in human years now and Yona is 15 soon to be 16. The royal family still believe me to be just an average wolf and I intend to keep it that way. That is until a series of events caused me to unwilling reveal my self. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I do not own Akatsuki No Yona or any of the characters and pictures used in this story. I only own the storyline between You and Shin-ah and any extras that may be included. This story will mostly follow the Manga, but only in certain areas. First published: 14th November 2017 Completed on: ~~~~~ {Wolf Shifter Series #1}

Sam is the most promising swordsman among this year’s crop of Paladin trainees...and knows it. Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam is the kingdom of Thule’s best hope against the violence wrought by demons. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one. But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her as Lady Samantha--yet-- but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing. Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Sam, Braeden and Tristan set out for the western coast, charged with rooting out an infestation of demons that has made the West unlivable. As they travel, they uncover a deep-seated corruption of power that threatens to derail everything they stand for. Rebellion stirs, led by a rival faction of warriors who tempt Sam to join them with an irresistible offer. A war between men is coming, and Sam must pick a side. Will saving the kingdom cost her life -- or just her heart? Reminiscent of Mulan, but with a medieval fantasy twist, Paladin is a tale of adventure, action, and romance.

[Wattpad Featured Story: Fantasy Hidden Gems] When we were children they whispered about beasts that hid amongst the shifting dunes, dark things with sharp teeth and loud howls and an insatiable thirst. Animals that gutted their prey and left intestines rotting in the sun and bones sprawled out across dried riverbeds. We listened with rapt attention and shivered despite the searing desert heat. But I'm not a child anymore, and I know better. The sand-dusted coyotes, the sleepy vipers-they're just animals, dumb and slow. I've met the real beast of the dunes, and he's nothing like they say. He wears the skin of a man, and the silks of a noble, and spins lies with a silver tongue sharp enough to make the earth bleed... And he holds my life in his blood-stained hands.
