This is the second book to "Through the dark". If you haven't read the first book then this one won't make very much sense so take some time to go read the first book. Continue to follow Kayla and Alec's journey as they learn to juggle being new parents along with maintaining their roles as shadow hunters. They all thought the threat was over with valentine gone, but little did they know it was just the beginning of something bigger.
