**A Christmas Short** What are the chances of two serial killers meeting each other? How about meeting on the jolliest holiday of them all; Christmas. Samuel Hawkins a tormented soul lost in the world since he was five. He always felt different from the rest, darker than most. Even therapists couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. Now he finds comfort in the demise of others; more specifically females. Killing has become his way to live in this toxic world. Yet he never thought he would have that one thing other so desperately craved, love. Melany Ryker was a sweet woman who cared for others. It was all a lie, a facade she put up to cover her true nature. During the day she was the appealing secretary of a high stakes marketing executive. By night she roamed the streets luring men into traps unknown. She's always been fascinated with blood, then she found thrills in taking the life of others. Each kill she wanted it to fill that void in her life, but nothing ever did. She never knew what it was that she was missing, she just knew it would never be filled. **Cover Made By : @victoriapinkglitter

"I'll make you a deal..." the man in the shadows said, desperation and fear feeding into his tone. Curiosity got the better of me. "What?" I ask, knowing I had nothing left to lose. He breathed a sigh of relief and finally stepped out of the shadows. "Give me until midnight to convince you to live on until tomorrow, if you still want to go ahead, I won't stop you," he promised, sincerity filling his voice. "Deal, but don't be surprised when you fail," I swear to him. I might as well spend the rest of New Year's Eve with someone else. A final goodbye to humanity I guess. Valarie has given up on life and humanity, but a stranger she meets on New Year's Eve refuses to give up on her. Will Nate be able to provide her with a lifeline that will last past midnight?
