RED TELLS Patrick Jane can read anyone. A nervous twitch. A carefully chosen word. A smile that arrives half a second too late. People lie. Their bodies don't. Then Hunter walks into the CBI. The new consultant is sharp, private, infuriatingly observant, and completely unimpressed by Jane's charm. Worse, she has an irritating habit of noticing things he would rather keep buried. Jane pushes her buttons. Hunter pushes back. What begins as professional rivalry quickly turns into something much more personal, a quiet war of manipulation, observation, and perfectly timed remarks. Neither is willing to back down. Neither is willing to admit when the other has struck too close to the truth. And somewhere beneath the games, the cases, and the growing tension, something neither of them expected begins to take shape. But there is one thing neither of them can afford to forget. Red John is still out there. He is watching. He is waiting. And while Jane is busy trying to figure out Hunter's tells, he may fail to notice the most dangerous one of all: The moment he starts caring about her. Some tells reveal a lie. Some reveal the truth. And some get you killed.

Patrick Jane can read almost anyone. Cordelia "Belladonna" Langston has spent her life making sure no one can read her quite so easily. When she joins the CBI, Jane finds himself fascinated by the woman who can recognize his games, challenge his conclusions, and occasionally turn his own tricks against him. What begins as mutual curiosity slowly becomes trust, attachment, and something far more dangerous for two people accustomed to keeping their defenses firmly in place. But as Cordelia becomes important to Jane, someone else begins paying attention. Red John has always considered Patrick Jane his favorite game. He never expected Belladonna to enter it. I know The Mentalist isn't exactly the most popular Wattpad fanfiction fandom, but it's one of my favorite shows so I believe it deserves a little love. The only Mentalist fanfiction I came across that I hope I can achieve the length of is 'I bet on losing dogs'. So shout out to the creator of that fic for pioneering this fandom. Just like my other book, this story is created with the assistance of AI though all concepts and Ideas are my own. I simply struggle with pacing and dialog sometimes so I use AI to help.

"Your Highness, there has to be another way." Dad said. "I'm sorry but it has to be done. I'll miss you my babygirl but you can't stay. One day, I will die and the wall will break again. Charles and them will upon you again. And you'll be back and put the wall back into its stable place again." Amber said. I looked at Angel. "I have to give up the world I've grown to love and live in the world I hate?" She asked.

Princess Aren is determined to make the human who killed her mother and exiled her people to the bottom of the ocean pay. To do so, she must go to extremes of pain and heartache in her search for justice. Aren, however, is no sweet, happy mermaid. To kill is to ignite a fire of passion in her heart which only the savage letting of blood can satiate. She will go to any lengths to find the man responsible, including cutting off her own tail and sewing, in its place, a pair of human legs - legs she tore from one of the many humans she had murdered. With the unwilling help of the sea witch, Princess Aren must go ashore and hunt for her mother's killer. But, in doing so, the worlds above and below the ocean will clash in ways neither thought possible! And the Meek Shall Walk - a 'beautiful' and 'savage' retelling of a classic story!

-- COMPLETED AND EDITING -- Nicole Shipton c. 2013 Teenage Michaela was a simple girl with an everyday life living in sunny California, excited about her sixteenth birthday party; a chance to get away from her strict parents for just a few hours. The quick surf Michaela and her sister Jess went on before the guests were due to arrive was meant to relax her, but to say it did the opposite would be an understatement. That surf turned Michaela's life around. Within a week, she had sprouted a tail, along with her sister. Michaela's parents weren't much help, leaving her and Jess to sort through the mess alone. When their mother and father finally took them to their home in the ocean, the two girls were kidnapped. One of the last remaining sea witches, a malicious woman named Krella, brought Michaela, Jess, and two other merpeople to the small town of Rocksworth. There, they were forced to do unmentionable and traumatizing things. Michaela doesn't know if she'll ever return to the coral castle she so briefly saw her parents call home, and if she does, what kind of life might that be? Read the sequel Unpredicted: http://www.wattpad.com/story/34212937-unpredicted -- Written at age eleven. Not very good (in my opinion). Being edited at age fourteen. --
