My daughter and I are both autistic, and over the years I have compiled a list (read: Pinterest board) of many great references and helpful articles, which just occurred to me to share here. This book will include info about all aspects of the autism spectrum, as well as sensory disorders, anxiety, ocd, giftedness, twice exceptional people, overexcitabilities, and more. I will also add many of my own thoughts and our experiences living with all of the above so be prepared for my random personal thoughts. If you are autistic or love someone who is, or just want to know more, please enjoy and feel free to ask respectful questions!

Every city has its claim to fame and for the city of Cytropolis it's their superheroes. But unlike the cities of Gotham and Central City, this isn't a good thing. Cytropolis is known far and wide as the city with the clumsiest and least influential superheroes ever. But it never mattered that much since the super villains were just as bad. That is, until recently when the villains decided to smarten up and open a super villain academy to train the newest generation (something that never occurred to the heroes). Luckily for them, Matt Miller has arrived. He may seem like an average, normal (even bordering on boring) seventeen-year-old boy, but when are things ever what they seem? He may be apathetic and bitter but he has super powers and he's kind of, well, powerful. He's the heroes only hope against the newest villain in town, Sinister Shadow, and he has no choice but to lend a hand (but he refuses to wear tights while he does it, he draws the line at tights). And with Matt's help (along with his little sister turned sidekick), the heroes just might win. *cover by @soundthealarm*

{Book 1 in the Journey of Faith series} ❝Being gay is okay, and I think God thinks so, too. Won't you join me?❞ Of all the hot button topics in Christianity today, homosexuality is arguably the hottest. Just Googling "gay and christian" can return upwards of 300 million results. But what does the Bible really say? How can someone be both Christian and an ally or a member of the LGBTQ+ community? As a Christian, this is my view on the issue. I am not a Bible scholar, but I hope to shed light on why I do not believe that it is an oxymoron to be a queer Christian. ❝For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.❞ - John 3:16 Highest rank in: NON-FICTION {#12} #christian {#5} #christianity {#6} #bible {#8} #jesus {#8} Peaceful debates are encouraged, but hate speech and overt hostility will be deleted. WATTPAD ORIGINAL EDITION In 1955, mixed-race Ethan Harper leaves his progressive hometown for a summer in Alabama where he's not welcome, except by resident free spirit, Juniper Jones. ***** After getting himself into a bout of trouble, 16-year-old Ethan Harper's parents send him to Ellison, Alabama, to live with his aunt and uncle for the summer. But the year is 1955, and Alabama is a far cry from his beloved home of Arcadia, Washington. As much as it's hotter in temperature, it's colder in every other way, and Ethan learns the hard way that people see his mere existence as a threat. Amidst all the mayhem, a fiery, free-spirited, oddball walks into Ethan's life. Her name is Juniper Jones. She is the first person in Ellison who seems unfazed by their racial differences, and she promises to give Ethan a summer he will always remember, filled with endless adventure and discovery. With Juniper, Ethan can breathe, he can be, despite the incessant attention and bullying their newly formed friendship attracts. Can the two survive the summer, run in the light and block out the noise of the outside world? [Published version comes out June 16, 2020 with Wattpad Books!] [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
