She's determined to get through college without stepping on any toes or causing a scene, and so far, it's going pretty well. But when Laurel uncovers a scandal involving the head coach of Garland University's beloved football team, she knows she has to do the right thing. Even if her classmates don't believe her. Even if her boss tries to fire her from the side job she desperately needs. Even if the heart-of-gold quarterback, Bodie St. James, seems hell-bent on hating her for writing the article that got Coach Vaughn put under criminal investigation (a feat which proves difficult when Laurel and Bodie wind up in the same group for a class project in BIO 108: Human Sexuality). ***** (#9 NewAdult, #3 TeenFiction. The Fiction Awards nominee for Best Romance, Best Diverse, and Best Overall. Reader's Choice Award finalist.) © 2020 Kate Marchant

Camille Settlemeyer's life revolves around two great natural wonders: Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth, and Matt Everest, the boy she's been in love with ever since they met at rock climbing camp five years ago. She might have to wait a few more years before her parents let her fly off to Nepal to scale the world's tallest summit, but this summer Camille's going to hit the road with Matt for one last climbing expedition before they part ways for college. Camille is convinced that a couple days alone with Matt in a beat-up van will make him realize they're destined to be together. What she doesn't account for is Matt bringing along his best friend from climbing camp, Tucker O'Hara, who possess an encyclopedic knowledge of the constellations and a sense of humor drier than the sprawling Arizona desert. Camille doesn't like how much of a know-it-all Tuck is, or how his gorgeous older sister seems to steal every last bit of Matt's attention. But Camille's about to learn that even the best climbers need a compass sometimes. (Commission for Wattpad's promotion of the film "The Best of Me")

Elinor was left with nothing after the Second Wizarding War. She was just another fighter, another witch, some alumni who battled darkness and won but lost to the glorious shadow of Harry Potter. Not a worthy acknowledgement was left to paint her dull name; not even her dead friends' names. So, she broke her wand in two and vowed to never associate herself with magic again. But Elinor had to learn through George Weasley that you can't run away from who you really are, and George from Elinor to know the true meaning of love and family.
