Before the Jedi were revered, King Xavier of Dantooine barely tolerated the force sensitive citizens in his kingdom. When his wife, Venus, displeases him, he holds a beauty contest to find a new queen. Hadassah has been raised by her cousin Jair since her parents died. He's Force sensitive, as she is, but while hers is hidden, he has been revealed. Her selection as the next queen leaves her in a place of power to save her people and risk death, or save herself at the cost of the Force. The future of the Jedi lays in her hands.

Yamuraiha finds Judal unconscious in the middle of Sindria surrounded by a crowd of citizens. She brings the magi back to the palace to Sinbad. When Judal awakens, Sinbad and Yamuraiha realize that Judal has lost his memories. When Yamuraiha goes to different nations looking for something to restore Judal's memory, Sinbad finds himself caught between choosing whether to help Judal, or to lie to the magi and rewrite his fate.

This is a story that takes place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. I DO NOT own anything of Star Wars. All locations, characters, etc belong to Lucasfilms/Disney. Rewrite coming once the story is over

The title of this story is inspired by "Your Hands Are Cold", one of the songs from the Pride and Prejudice (2005) score, composed by Dario Marianelli, and performed by the English Chamber Orchestra and Jean Yves-Thibaudet. I thought the song could be the perfect theme for my story, and I recommend that you listen to it as you read! The story is set during the time after The Hobbit, and just before and during the LOTR era. Warning: this story contains a mild rape scene.

I spend a lot of time on my characters, whether I kill them or keep them alive, so please don't take them.
