[REWRITTEN VERSION OF THE ORIGINAL 'Rewrite History'] ************************** At fourteen, Cassia Valors expectedly has a lot to look forward to, exploring what the world has to offer as a gifted individual who is unnaturally good at everything. While she has friends on her side to support and help find what she's truly passionate about, this also creates just as many enemies for her. Colliding with a bigger problem, she is tasked with learning about her true history in secret. Cassia finds that she is a descendant of a great tribe in an almost imaginary nation, Phendonia. Beyond the abandoned alleyway, a mysterious man has enticed her to keep the Orephius tribe's traditions going. This means her school life, family life, and even her future life have to be put on hold. This new priority will force her to conceal this new identity. On the way, she meets a boy from her rival school stuck with the same issue, and together, they figure out that everyone else seems to be getting it wrong. The Orephius tribe aren't merciless, cold slaughterers of the innocent were they? That's not what she was taught at least. Something is not adding up. Unknowing lives are at stake. The walls of her city, Etheris, will soon begin to collapse as she has no idea of the perils she's gotten herself into. ~ [MINOR GRAPHIC WARNING. Hello everyone! You've stumbled across my big book of Short Stories! This is a fun, ongoing challenge that me and my friend Dragoln are doing. The two of us have a daily random generated prompt that we have to write a story to. Both of us get the exact same prompt yet our stories will spiral down different paths. And who knows? Some of our ideas might even be good enough to be developed into separate books. Please take note that writing these stories are just for fun and the sole purpose of them was to improve our writing skills. More will be said in the author's note of this book (1st chapter). I hope you enjoy these oneshots :)
