In 1972 , playwrite Richard Collier becomes fascinated by a photograph of Elise McKenna, a turn of the century stage actress, while staying at the Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island. As Richard's obsession grows , he learns from a friend that time travel may be actually be possible through hypnosis. Richard travels through time in to meet Elise , and the two appear destined to be together. However , Elise's jealous manager attempts to keep them apart .

Although I love Rise of Skywalker and believe it a great movie. Ben Solo's death has been hard to get over. Even though I do love the premise of him laying down his life for the one he loves, I still wish it would of been different. So in that spirit I'm not gonna rewrite the Rise of Skywalker but expand upon it by picking up where it left off and bringing Ben back from the dead because he and Rey deserve a happy ending.
