Then EJ realizes what's happening. "I can't believe it," he sighs. Turning to Bakugo, he tries to speak as civilly as possible. "Did your friends also tell you to meet them at the haunted house?" Bakugo doesn't answer his question, but he seems to understand anyway. Small explosions burst from his open palms again as he curses. "Those idiots set us up." On their day off, three Shiketsu students visit U.A.'s school festival. EJ always thought his soulmate would be rude and condescending. It turns out he's only partly right.

The moonlight glistens on his pale face, bringing out his chiseled features. His fiery hair looks even darker in comparison and she tries not to stare. "Fine," she relents, "I guess that's true." "Anything more to say?" he challenges. "The night isn't getting any younger, darling." Sydney lives in a city where those accused of corruption have started to fall at the hands of a notorious serial killer, the Magician. An unfortunate chance encounter causes him to take an interest in her for an evening.

She shuffles on her feet in front of the mahogany double doors. When they open, she puts on her best customer service voice and hopes for a generous tip. "Here's your chicken pizza-" Chloe cuts herself off when she meets the gaze of the man standing in front of her. Part-time pizza delivery girl and full-time hero sidekick Chloe struggles to balance her two very different jobs. This is the story of when worlds collide.

He stands behind her, freshly changed into his red jersey. It's quite evident with this particular uniform that Kuroo's an athlete, legs hardened with the muscle needed to make up his blocks. Carmen swallows and mumbles, "I told you to stop calling me that." While the two of them place the volleyball pole into the ground, Kuroo smirks. "What? And give up on what was probably the best username of all time? Absolutely not." In other words, Carmen navigates through another day at Nekoma High while trying to confess to her best friend and long-time crush, Kuroo.
