If survival was your top priority, the smartest play would be to remain in the safety of town until the day someone else beat the game. But the fact that we spent every waking moment testing the front line on our own, risking death for ever greater statistical rewards, meant one of two things: that we were either tried-and-true addicts... Or a damned fools so arrogant as to honestly think only we could free the world with our sword arms. As we started making for the exit of the Suagist, I thought back to that day. 7 months ago. "The day everything started...That was the day that marked the beginning of the end."
