These monsters are considered to be the most dangerous and feared among various kingdoms and regions, creating various legends. One such legend was that there was a group of people who could battle alongside monsters, creating various bonds with them. These people were revered to be capable of fighting against some of the most dangerous threats as some of them were hired by various kingdoms to fight in their armies. However, as people realized how powerful they could be, they started to fear them. Before long, these people were hunted down and killed along with their monster partners until none were left. As for the knowledge as to how they were able to do so, were lost along with their records. However, as one adventurer cleared a dungeon with their comrade, they found a rather odd item that neither of them knew. Little did they know that the one who found it would enter a whole new world where things would take a drastic turn. Unknown to all the nations in the world, an ancient dragon locked deep within the Earth's crust slowly stirs. The only way to prevent this dragon from destroying the world is for it to be stopped before it's too late. As the one who could stop it, is one who can battle alongside with monsters.
