Dan Mercer and Skye LeBlanc are two agents in the international organization known as S.P.E.A.R, an organization created to maintain peace between mankind and every magical/mythological being that inhabit the earth. During their few years of service, they've done things like make sure Bigfoot pays his taxes, help Mothman get over his obsession with large objects that make bright lights, stop thunderbirds from breaking into chicken coops, keep Nessie from swearing up a swarm in the middle of an important meeting, and much, much more. However, things go sour as an incident directly after a normal enough job causes the two to go down a rabbit hole filled with odd characters, bad jokes, questionable monsters, bloodcurdling specters, tax-evading cryptids, and eldritch horrors. Will these two get to the bottom of this almost never-ending pit of cases, or will they fall by the wayside and go mad trying?
