When all the death eaters broke out of Askaban They woke a certain prisoner who has been in there for a very long time. Practically as long as the prison has been built maybe even longer. Was he put there because he committed some atrocious crime? No. nothing so dark and dreary. Immortality to some seems like a blessing, some people strive for it, kill for it even. But some see it as a curse of an endless life. Some people wish they were just normal human beings. Living a 100-year lifespan. Maybe even the wizarding 200-year lifespan but no more. One man wishes for death. But he could never grasp it. Until he meets the master of it. Or at least the soon to be master. Coming into a new world with dark Lords and young children fighting in a war they need not fight. An old sorcerer joins the battle. {Book 1}

After allowing Gwaine to choose the accomidation, Arthur, Merlin and the knights wake up in a strange pit with no doors, no windows and no way out. But the pit is the least of their problems as they begin to realise they are caught up in something much worse, a game where angels are tested to their limits.

Once again, Arthur and the knights make the wonderful decision to go on a hunting trip. To no one's surprise, something is bound to go wrong. They are met with an ambush and a mysterious sorcerer with a pair of magical cuffs. Instead of putting them on Arthur, which is what everyone expected, she decides to give them to Merlin instead. Unbeknownst to all of them, the cuffs are made to control one's magic and bind it to another's command. How will Arthur and the knights react? And what does she want with them? *** Descriptions are not my thing but here you go! Important things to note: - Takes place after season 3 - Uther's alive, but not really useful (kind of went crazy after Morgana's betrayal) - Lancelot's alive!!! I think that's about it. COMPLETED. Merlin thought his Soulpoetry, a "two sides" inscription on his sternum, was about his life, trying to hide his magic all the time. Arthur thought that his Soulpoetry, an "of the same coin" scrawl on the base of his fingers, referred to the fact that he led a very dull Pendragon life. What if Merlin had another secret? What if Merin's secret past comes back to haunt him? Merlin had a life as an assassin before coming to Camalot. And his past might just come to light, it might just come to kill the King. What will Merlin do? Will he be able to save Arthur in time or will the King's time finally come. Hunith is dead so no moment of truth episode happened.

When Merlin saves Arthur from falling to his doom with magic, Arthur is furious. Unable to kill him, the king banishes Merlin from the land and the young warlock leaves, abandoning his destiny. Morgana learns of all of this and decides that this is her time to attack. Camelot will be defenseless without Emrys. Can Merlin forgive his friends in time to save Albion and his destiny?

Arthur finds out about Merlin's Magic. he doesn't know what else to do and banishes Merlin, much to his friend's chagrin. Merlin is greeted by some old friends who help him become the powerful warlock he is meant to be while providing refuge for all magic beings.
