From a young age, Ruby Rose was a fast learner she even begged her uncle one day to teach her about weapons since a book can teach you so much. Her uncle taught her a little on how to use a scythe, letting her use a wooden replica, but he would also practice on a dummy. Her sister Yang wanting her to also know hand to hand combat but she wasn't really interested like she was and just ended up watching Yang punch a bag while their father was talking about the weak points on a person. Everything was peaceful until Ruby got kidnapped by some people, and they did horrible things to her... When she was 6 her parents were killed by jauque schnee and his men. they burned her village down and took her to atlas where they did horrible experience on her. she has SDC scar on her right upper hip. But while in his custody she met Weiss and they became friends.but when Ruby was eight she escaped. and know she is going to beacon and Weiss does not remember her because she hides her ears and tail.
