Life's going pretty fucking great for Joe Alwyn. He's fresh out of drama school and the lead in a new Ang Lee movie. He's exploring the States for the first time, getting drunk with his mates when he meets her....THE girl of his dreams. Just one problem: she's Taylor fucking Swift. Is pursuing her even worth it? This story told from Joe's perspective, touches on the Sunset and Vine Night™, the Met Gala, and the beginning stages of Taylor and Joe's relationship amidst the dumpster-fire year that 2016 was for Taylor. Like all my stories, I tried to make this one as accurate as possible, referencing song lyrics, Taylor and Joe spottings, interview quotes, etc. At the end of the day, I'm still a swiftie head-cannoning lol, so please take everything written with a grain of salt.
