A short story written for the Red Feather Award Summer 2019 Writing Contest - To love a man to the point where he's all you can ever think of, is Arraya Templeton's problem. Except the man in question is a fictional character in her own novel. But what happens if he's real? Travel into the world of a writer, who discovers how powerful writing a book can be, when she learns her characters have come to life, and their lives are in jeopardy, because of her. GALSYR brings back the meaning of true romance as two people learn that there is not always rhyme or reason to falling in love. 'Sometimes, it just happens.' Three prompts: Broken Key, Old Book, The Smell of Rain.
