This story begins where the series finished. Lorelai and Rory continue to live their lives in Stars Hollow. Where the return of an old friends causes a few problems.

This story starts off the day after Rory graduates from Yale in May of 2007.

Ever since she said no to her one true love her life had been dull, the same daily routine over and over again. To the outside eye it may seem like she has everything. COO of the best paper in New York, a good name, no shortage of money, a good home, a family that loves her. And yet she feels empty, like there is a void that needs to be filled. read streets of gold and travel with her on her journey.

How would Shira act towards Rory earlier? Would things be better, or worse? Also, what if Rory wasn't showing a high school student from Chilton around campus when the stunt was pulled.
