Josephine Langford is a 16 years old girl and is a dedicated student and dutiful daughter. She is altruistic, ambitious, empathetic, bright, studious, and well-behaved. She is soft-spoken but isn't afraid to state her opinions when called out on them. She is an introvert, preferring to stay in to read or watch a movie than go out to a party. Due to being controlled and sheltered her whole childhood and adolescence, Josephine was rather naive about the dangers of the real world. Josephine goes to Ellensburg High School in Ellensburg, Washington. Hero Fiennes Tiffin is a 17 years old boy who rebel against his parents and he's hot and he's in drama class and he's had a traumatic childhood and he likes bullying girls but after Hero and Josephine world collided life will never be same.

Most would think that this is your typical strangers to enemies to lovers mafia book. But is it? Hero Fiennes Tiffin, leader of one of the most feared Mafias in all of Britain. Before his mother had died of cancer he was a nice and sweet boy but after she had died he turned into a cold and heartless person. If you have ever met Hero you might consider him a "man-whore" and well he kinda was. He never cared about the people who hurt him. He already knew he would never love or feel again so why would he need to feel for the people he hurt. Would he ever change? Josephine Langford, well she was the complete opposite well except for not knowing how to love things but she was just a normal college student, she didn't have many friends but it wasn't like she was shy or anything like that. It was because she was fine with just her best friend Mila. And the love thing was well she walked into her boyfriend cheating on with someone he had met at the party they were at together. And the thing was that he was her boyfriend of 2 years so that sucked. Okay, but what happens when these run into each other randomly? Read to find out.
