He scours through the internet, trying to find a job he could live off of. Then he comes across Circus Baby's Rentals and Entertainment, a place he hadn't heard about in years. He takes the job, having nothing to lose, and starts working. After a few normal days of work, he finally meets Circus Baby and her gang, and who they really are. After being exiled from the mushroom kingdom after a failed assassination attempt on princess peach, y/n travels over to Bowser castle seeking asylum, expecting to be either thrown out immediately or be taken prisoner. They instead find a gracious and generous king, and a very attentive and loving father. Aiming to get on Bowser's good side, y/n forms a parent-like relationship with Bowser jr. Taking notice, Bowser starts behaving very strangely around them, leading Bowser jr. and Kamek to play match-maker.

"But, that would be kinda weird, like I'm a human and you're a reptile dragon thing." She awkwardly laughed. "There's always beauty and the beast." I smiled. "But you're not a beast." She laughed. "Then who am I?" I sarcastically asked. "Bowser, of course, but it's sad how in stories the villain never finds true love." She sighed. "Then this story is different." I laughed gently grabbing her chin.
