Infidelity, ˌinfəˈdelədē, is the action or state of being unfaithful to a moral obligation. Olivia Ludavico Spraying my right hand out to the door, I pushed it open, but I didn't miss a drop of blood that was plastered on the knob. Training my gun up into the room, I surveyed around and my eyes landed to see the man, that was suppose to be my kill with my bullet, with his head titled back and his hands tied to his chair- he looked to be sleeping but the two bullets to his head and chest told me it was an instant kill. Someone had beat me to it. "Damn it." I hissed out, clearly annoyed. I placed my hand on my earpiece turning my body sideways to the door. It hadn't been thirty minutes but my brother needed to know we wasted valuable time with me coming down here. It was apparent he wasn't doing bad business with just my father. My brother didn't respond and I rolled my eyes before my breath quickened after hearing clinking of a glass, and I turned on my heel ready to fight for life or death. I hesitated for the first time in my life. Piercing grey eyes in the dim light to Abram Smirnov's office stared back at me, and not to the gun that could end his life at any moment. He looked to be the man that invited death with open arms, but it was on his time and not when the universe called for him and the way his eyes flickered told me it was for damn sure not going to be from me; not for tonight. His fingers grazed the side of his glass before I watched him tick his forefinger against it. He radiated off power and my finger closed around the trigger but I didn't pull it. If he was going to hurt me; he would've by now. What did he want? Nicholai Corsetti
