Deamyra was not raised to inherit power. She was raised to survive it. In a court where daughters are bargaining tools and affection is a liability, she understands one truth above all: safety is never given - it is secured. Valarr Targaryen is not the most charming of princes. He is not reckless. He is not easily swayed. But he is steady. In a world of unpredictable men and burning tempers, Valarr is restraint. Discipline. Protection forged in black steel. He does not promise romance - he promises order. And to Deamyra, order is worth more than poetry. She does not dream of fairy tales. She dreams of permanence. Of a place no one can remove her from. If becoming his wife means safety, she will become indispensable. If bearing his child means security, she will not hesitate. If loving him makes it easier to stay - she may allow herself that luxury. Because in the game of dragons, love is uncertain. But protection - protection can be chosen. And Deamyra has chosen.

Endless cycles always come to an end. Valarr Targaryen, son of Baelor Targaryen and Jena Dondarrion, had been missing for a month when he was found near the ruins of Harrenhal. He was wandering through the tall grass, barefoot, his gaze vacant, his skin was an alarming pallor, and his body bore signs of violence, with scars crisscrossing his back and chest, some thin, others wider. The X-rays revealed something even worse: his forearms and shins had been broken... Someone had tried to break them, then let them heal before doing it again, but hadn't had time to complete the process. Valarr was rambling. His sentences made no sense. The investigators tried to make sense of it, then someone asked the obvious question. "Where is Morgana Stark?" Valarr froze. Very slowly, he tilted his head to the side at a strange angle and murmured. "I don't know where my girlfriend is." There was a silence... Then he parted his lips once more. "I don't know where my girlfriend is." Again. "I don't know where my girlfriend is." And again. "I don't know where my girlfriend is." He finally stopped to catch his breath. The investigators exchanged a heavy look, because one thing was certain: no one knew where Morgana Stark was. No one... Except maybe Valarr.

Through long days of feasts, councils, and solitude, they slowly reach for something more than obligation, discovering that love is not always immediate, but can be built-carefully, painfully, and honestly-by two people choosing each other every day.

Daenys was born from obligation, not love, raised in the shadow of a father who never wanted her and a court that never quite accepted her. Sent away at fourteen to Summerhall without explanation, she learned quickly that survival did not belong to the loud it belonged to the observant. The girl who once slipped through corridors unnoticed did not disappear there. She hardened. She listened. She changed. When she returned to court, she was no longer the quiet, overlooked child. To the surprise of many and the irritation of more her grandfather, King Daeron, saw something in her that others had failed to notice. Strength. Calculation. A presence that did not beg to be seen but commanded it anyway. He declared his intention plainly: Daenys would be his future queen. There was only one problem. Daeron meant for Daenys to marry Valarr Targaryen -and Valarr was already betrothed. Worse still, he did not like the woman Daenys had become.

Princess Daenys Martell firstborn daughter of Princess Daenerys Targaryen and Prince Maron Martell, the future Ruling Princess of Dorne. Unlike her siblings she bears Valyrian features, silver-gold hair and amethyst eyes, which set her apart and fuel whispers about her parentage, including rumors linking her to Daemon Blackfyre. Though she was born prematurely and lives with lasting damage to her lungs, she refuses to see herself as fragile. Others treat her as if she were made of glass, unfit to rule and more Targaryen than Martell.. Her illness confines her body, not her will and she is determined to prove that she is more than the "weak heir" people believe her to be. Aerion recognizes this defiance and exploits it. Unlike others, he does not coddle her. Instead, he tests her limits, pushing her to endure him, his presence, even his suffocating closeness. He frames it as strength, as transformation, convincing her that she does not need the same things as ordinary people that she is above them. Their relationship is not one of simple control, it is a struggle. She is drawn to the way he sees her not as fragile, but as worthy. That validation is intoxicating, not because she is weak, but because it aligns with the person she wants to be. And in trying to prove she is not breakable, she risks letting him reshape her into something far more dangerous.

Shaera Rivers was born from the union of the Great Bastards. Daughter of the two most dangerous shadows in Westeros, Bloodraven and Shiera Seastar. Granddaughter of King Aegon Targaryen the Unworthy, Lady Melissa Blackwood, and Serenei of Lys. Valarr Targaryen was the heir's heir, the golden prince of his age, tethered by honor to a crown he was born to protect. And Shaera Rivers was the bastard's bastard. No matter how noble her lineage appeared, her roots were rotten with the shame of her birth. Their love was a bond that no king would sanction and no realm would ever tolerate. ~ "Who is that?" Kiera asked, her voice tighter than she intended. Lady Ellyn's lips curved slightly. "That is her.. Prince Valarr's beloved." The word struck like a stone. "Beloved?" "Indeed." Ellyn's eyes followed Shaera's hands as the shears moved with quiet precision. "When Valarr looks at her, he sees flowers, lilies, roses, something rare and delicate. But watch closely my dear." Her voice dropped to a velvet whisper. "He sees blossoms... while her hands close only around poisonous weeds." Kiera hesitated. "She looks... fragile. Almost ethereal." "So does frost." Ellyn murmured. "Right before it kills the harvest." Her voice lowered into a silken warning. "Do not let the silver hair deceive you. Beneath that glow is a girl who climbed into a prince's heart using tricks no septa would ever teach. They say... she has enchanted him." Her gaze slid back to Kiera, sharp and knowing. "If I were you.." She said softly. "I'd ensure Prince Valarr remembers the difference between a highborn rose and a common weed before she sows any more seeds in his head..."

Trained in advanced, lethal magic by the very Slytherins the rest of the world fears, she is the most formidable witch of her age-a vital ally to The Order of the Phoenix, yet a pariah to a school that brands her a traitor for her loyalties. Her heart is a dangerous map of conflicting ties. While she stands firmly with the Light, she is bound to a circle of boys falling deeper into the Dark Lord's reach. Theodore Nott is the anchor of her soul, while Mattheo Riddle-a boy with a terrifying power that rivals even his father's-harbors a consuming, protective devotion to her.
