Kate a 17 year old city girl who's lived with her uncle ever since her mother's death, is suddenly moved to back Wyoming to live with her dad and stepmom. Kate doesn't ever want to go back to the Wyoming. She doesn't want to live with her new stepmom or go back to the very ranch where her mother died. Ella Wilson loved her life and just when she thought it couldn't get any better, a new colt was born on her parents ranch. Jasper loves to play and run around but never strays to far from his mothers side. 5 months after Jasper was born, tragedy strikes, and Jasper and Ella are forced to fend for themselves. Since Ella is only 15 she can't legally live on her own, but who ever said anything about living by the rules? Ella and Jasper have to be careful not to attract too much attention, because if they do then the government will find out the truth of what happened to Ella's parents, and that can't happen. No one knows the whole truth. No one except Jasper and Ella. Will they be able to keep it that way? Or will they be taken away from each other and their old lives?

Ally Johnsen was an ordinary horse loving 14 year old girl until the day came that would change her life, forever. After a big fall during a competition, Ally is blinded. She moves away to start a new life away from New York and big cities, in a new neighborhood in California. Ally is taken away from her best friends, her horse, and her old life. Moving isn't easy in the first place, meeting new people, going to a new school, and having a new house, but when your blind? It seems like the hardest thing ever, especially when you are only 14. Cole Weston is mad at the world. His father for leaving him and his mother when he only was six, his former friends for betraying him, and his step-dad and mother for dying in a car crash. But, when Cole meets Ally, he sees that everyone might not be bad and hope for her as well. Ace is an abused 4 year old horse, he has been through hell and back, until he finds himself free from his old life and in a new place. One day he sees Ally and, just like Cole, realizes that she is different. Will two "broken" souls be able to mend each other with the help of horses? or will it all come crumbling down?

The day that Meadowbrooke stables burnt down was bound to change Harper smith's life for ever. How? No one knew, but while going through the rubble that used to be Meadowbrooke stable, the fireman find a survivor. Phoenix is a three year old quarter horse who survived the fire only because he had been in the breezeway after unlocking his stall door, but since he was eating some grain he had found, he did not realize that there was a fire until a few minutes after it had started. he managed to escape with only a few minor burns, but also with a major few humans because he saw who started the fire. Harper Smith lives on her mother's horse rescue with her mother and a few of the stable hands. Harper has been riding before she could walk and is a senior in high school and would probably be considered one of the popular kids, but that's not how she sees it and when Phoenix arrives after purchasing him from his owners for a mere 250$ because they were too stressed about the fire and the insurance. the stable next door has been bought after being for sale for 5 years, but by who? Will Harper and Phoenix be able to trust each other?
