It's been seven years. Seven years, and Prince Katsuki still remembers. Seven years, and he still can't forget the day he lost his other half--there one moment, gone the next, vanished like mist. It's been seven years, and Katsuki still remembers the scream that follows him in his nightmares, the desperate plea that plagues his heart. It's been seven years since the prince swore that he would never, ever, love again. Seven years since the nation's calm and adorable prince turned himself into a merciless warrior incapable of love. But a kingdom needs a married heir, and Katsuki has postponed his coronation for far too long. Despite his tantrums and his stubborn claims, Queen Mitsuki is set on finding him a partner if it's the last the she does. She's not getting any younger, and the longer Katsuki stayed single the longer she would be forced to attend those stupidly boring meetings on--er... The longer she would fear that her nation would be left... uh... without a monarchy. Totally what she worried about. Tensions in the palace and the kingdom are high, and now there have been reports. Rumors arise of a monster in the woods, and coupled with the prideful (and annoying) King of the Todoroki Kingdom, Prince Katsuki cannot deal with another problem. Catch it, he says. I don't care who or how or when, just get it out of my hair. It's been seven years. Prince Katsuki is still too heartbroken to care.

It all started with a boy. A CUTE boy. Kirishima owns a flower shop in UA college town, where he spends most of his time when he's not running around being a vigilante and crushing on Ground Zero. He works tirelessly every day, trying desperately to save enough money to attend even a single semester of UA. Bakugo can't help but be pissed at his classmates. Damned Deku one-uping him on the tests, his hearing aids on the constant fritz, Dunce-head hurting himself again, and that Stupid Icy-Hot with his passive-aggressive mind games about his absolute man crush that is Red Riot. As if he didn't already have enough problems. But Mr. Aizawa says "play nice," so that's exactly what Bakugo intends to do. But Bakugo finds the redhead's smile hides more than anyone could have thought, and as Kirishima's dreams draw closer, so does a past he thought he'd left behind. Flower Shop AU: (UA is a college for "pro heroes", however, no one knows everyone else is a hero. Quirks are not nearly as common and most keep them secret.) Red /red/ adjective 1. A color at the end of the spectrum next to orange and opposite violet, as of blood, fire, or rubies. Red. An odd color. It has so many meanings and so many emotions behind it. Love Anger, Embarrassment; whatever you can think of and even what you can't. It's refreshing to know that it's always there, making us feel the emotions it is conveying. Yet, there is you. When I look at your face, I can't tell what you're feeling. You're red. Your eyes, your hair, hell, even your clothes, but still I can't figure out what you are. No matter though, I'll figure out what you mean and I'll never let that definition go. Never.

Bakugo gets nightmares. He's had them for a while. This is just something he has to deal with, it'll eventually go away. But why did I have to run into you?

Bakugou has never been good with words. Kirishima has never been good with self-confidence. Bakugou tries to help, in his own special way. It's time to take a hike!
