Mikey left with the weird Wentz kid, leaving Frank to run into his gothic brother, Gerard, who only comes out of the basement for coffee. When Frank was invited to go with him to the cemetery, he was only expecting poetry slams, and only going one night. But something weird is happening, and Gerard has some attractive force that isn't just due to looks.

Gerard's pretty much your average emo, loner, kid in high school. Except maybe his family is completely made up of witches and wizards. Gerard's finally turned eighteen, which means he will get to freely use magic. He is incredibly excited to start experimenting on his own, but he discovers something that got him into a bit of trouble. An old friend, Frank, stumbles upon it and finds himself also tangled in the mess. Together, Frank and Gerard have to figure out what kind of trouble they've gotten themselves into and how to fix it.
