The white paint was chipped and had a recent layer of paint as if someone had tried to repaint the door but had been interrupted. She lifted her fist and knocked precisely three times on the door. A series of crashes and oofs sounded from behind that door. Piper heard a loud thud and nearly jumped out of her skin. What was going on in there? When the door finally opened, Piper had to stifle a gasp. A hot, shirtless guy stood in the doorway, panting for breath while leaning against it. He was wearing long, baggy grey sweatpants.
