Fresh out of the army, John Watson is returning to London to settle into a normal life with little success. Life would never be the same for John, what soldiers life is? Wounded, broke, and alone, John meets a rather strange fellow. Sherlock Holmes. His reputation is great and his mind is even greater, which makes John instantly fall in love with this stranger the more time they spend together. But something is stopping the retired army doctor from confessing his love to the detective. Something is off about him. He seems to never eat and rarely sleeps, pale as snow, and eyes that seem to burn bright red; crimson red. POST REICHENBACH/JOHNLOCK AU. Two years after watching the love of his life commit suicide, John Watson has faded out. Balancing between sleepless nights or facing the nightmares to see Sherlock’s face again; he knows the game is over. But he never had closure. John is persuaded to go to Mycroft's party with Greg. There, John has an awful forced sexual encounter with Anderson. "Who will take me home now?"

Sherlock gets expelled from school and is sent to a boarding school. However when he meets John Watson, it seems the school may not be so bad. But can their relationship hold under the strains of school and other, darker threats?
