More than eight years before the novel opens, Anne Elliot, then a lovely, thoughtful, warm-hearted 19 year old, accepted a proposal of marriage from the handsome young naval officer Frederick Wentworth. He was clever, confident, and ambitious, but poor and with no particular family connections to recommend him. Sir Walter, Anne's fatuous, snobbish father and her equally self-involved older sister Elizabeth were dissatisfied with her choice, maintaining that he was no match for an Elliot of Kellynch Hall, the family estate. Her older friend and mentor, Lady Russell, acting in place of Anne's late mother, persuaded her to break the engagement. Now 27 and still unmarried, Anne re-encounters her former love when his sister and brother-in-law, the Crofts, take out a lease on Kellynch. Wentworth is now a captain and wealthy from maritime victories in the Napoleonic wars. However, he has not forgiven Anne for rejecting him. While publicly declaring that he is ready to marry any suitable young woman who catches his fancy, he privately resolves that he is ready to become attached to any appealing young woman except for Anne Elliot.

Emma Woodhouse, aged 20 at the start of the novel, is a young, beautiful, witty, and privileged woman in Regency England. She lives on the fictional estate of Hartfield in Surrey in the village of Highbury with her elderly widowed father, a hypochondriac who is excessively concerned for the health and safety of his loved ones. Emma's friend and only critic is the gentlemanly George Knightley, her neighbour from the adjacent estate of Donwell, and the brother of her elder sister Isabella's husband, John. As the novel opens, Emma has just attended the wedding of Miss Taylor, her best friend and former governess. Having introduced Miss Taylor to her future husband, Mr. Weston, Emma takes credit for their marriage, and decides that she rather likes matchmaking.

Mathias glowers at me with those dull, yet bright eyes and all I can do is glare back at him. The air around us crackled with electricity and a raging fire from the pit of my stomach licked the back of my throat. I was ready to spit flames at him, scorch the smug smile off his face and leave him to burn like he does me. Instead I don't get the chance. His soft lips capture mine and I know I'm fighting a losing battle. Side story to 'Under The Same Moon As Mathias' Sunny is sunny. A bright personality to go along with the shine in his eye and the sparkle of his teeth. Just the type of guy to counter the grumpy personality of his best friend and Alpha, Mathias and fiesty Luna, Ridley, perfectly as Beta. Outgoing and ambitious as he is, Sunny has a secret. He's gay, and just when the pressure of finding a mate starts to get to him, he meets Seth. Seth is Ridley's childhood best friend, who holds feelings for the girl he fell for before he disappeared. He's got a secret of his own; he's a vampire. Cold, angry and eternally dead, he finds it hard to let go of his dream of being human with his first love. Until Sunny comes along and melts the ice around his cold heart. //I don't own any of the images found in the cover or aesthetics// This story is unedited and does not perfectly align with 'Under the Same Moon as Mathias'

"She was a threat when she had nothing to lose, now she's dangerous because she has everything to lose." ° "You wouldn't really kill me," Atlas stares at me with those intense black eyes and my finger squeezes the trigger slightly. I hold the gun firmly to his forehead. "You love me, Anastasia." I scoff, forcing myself to maintain eye contact, "How could I ever love a monster like you?" Then I pull the trigger. ° A twisted fairy tale in which it's not about her beauty, but how lethal she is. ° Teaser-- will start full updates in the summer //I don't own any of the images found in the cover or aesthetics//
