And even though Eleanor's tired mother hated children, she was convinced that he would love her too if they just had a child together. That's how Eleanor was born. And when Eleanor didn't work, when he didn't leave his wife, she decided that one baby wasn't enough and so she had another. And that's how Casey was born. Eleanor and Casey were suddenly thrown aside by their broken-hearted mother; and then their father, being the married man that he was, completely denied their existence. Which left 8-year-old Eleanor and newborn baby Casey in foster care, hidden from the world like a blemish. As Eleanor gets older, she is forced to protect her brother from the cruel world that they live in. She doesn't want him to grow up like she did, feeling like a thrown away misfit. Eleanor learns that she needs to do whatever it takes to get her brother a better life. And that's when the trouble starts for her. By the time that Eleanor turns 22, she has been consumed by a world of lies, money, and sex. Convinced that doing the wrong thing is okay for the right reasons, Eleanor is used to living with two separate identities. #1 ADDICTIVE ❤️ #1 SEXUAL ASSAULT ❤️ #1 RECOVERY ❤️ #1 DEPRESSION ❤️ #1 MUSIC ❤️ #3 TRAUMA ❤️ #2 ADDICTION ❤️ #9 MENTAL HEALTH ❤️ If you were to ask Ivy what she thought of her neighbour, her response would be simple. Isaac West is a reckless, dangerous, criminal. And if you were to ask him the same thing, his response would be the exact opposite. Ivory Ferrari is a spoilt, boring, prude. On the surface, you wouldn't believe these two have anything in common. They've lived completely different lives on opposite sides of the social spectrum, with Ivy in a secluded private estate, and Isaac drifting between drug-filled homes and the empty walls of a jail cell. But not everything is at it seems. Through a series of class debates, anxiety attacks, and bar fights, the two realise that there's more to the other than meets the eye, and they may just be more alike than either of them expected. They've both been through hell and back. They've both suffered at the hands of another, they both struggle to get through a single day, and most importantly, they both share the same wish-to avoid their darkness and live in the light.

Lottie and Rowan's story: "You count to four." I state after a moment of silence. "I count to four and my safe number is three. You have turned everything upside down. Three, six, nine... Was what I used to think in. I used to check the door, the oven, the lights. But nine is not a multiple of four, it fucked me up." "Rowan I knew. I knew you were counting to four. You had four marks. You did the four fingers. You would kiss me in fours. But it is still not my fault." "I never said it was."

STORY 4 BOOK 2 of Loving November Grace Five years ago I was swept up in this storm. The storm of him. And for a beautiful second, our clouds, they collided. Our skin hydrated. Loving the way the rain felt across our nerves. The electricity, the lightning burning us. And this storm it broke and fixed me all at once. It tore down everything in it's path, destroyed walls and melted ice I thought was forever going to be inside of me, but it also nurtured my heart and I grew. I grew and I survived everything after; all the consequences of loving him. We survived. I was left with memories, and imprints that only whispered to be heard. And even they faded over the years. I wasn't ever going to see him again and that was okay. It was okay until it wasn't. Until it wasn't a reality. And he walked right into my little coffee shop. Because when two points are destined to touch, when paths are pushed together, forced to cross- There's no rule that they only cross once. If the universe wants it, it will always find a way to make the connection. Cole and I lost each other, and I thought that was fate, that is what was destined for us. It was the safest thing for us all. It still is. And that is fine. But when we did meet again, all those years later- it wasn't. Nothing at all was fine. There are so many reasons why I should have stayed away, so many reasons why that fire, that fire should have gone out by now, and nothing but ash should be left. Yet it burned. Us. Them. It was destructive and neither of us even wanted it. But. It's us. Our hearts are old friends, our skin, etched with each other's fingertips.
