"He's, uh, he's in critical condition, Mick." Mickey just wanted some ice cream. He didn't mean for the night to turn out the way it did; blood and glass converging into one with his boyfriend's breaths fading to almost nothing.

Just thought of doing something like this after watching this weeks episode of Shameless.

Ian last saw Mickey behind plate glass in prison, where he shattered his heart and walked out on him. Three months have passed and Ian still regrets it all. After months of rethinking and talking himself into it, he's set on a decision. Not knowing how Mickey will feel, he takes a chance, gets in his car and drives down to the prison to let him know that he's still in love with him. Here we go. •Note: This story was my first attempt at fanfiction. I hope it gets under your skin. (See what I did there? Haha.)

Every time Ian was pressed up against him, his heart broke more and more. In this story, it will be mostly following Mickey and his feelings. About him falling apart with out the emotional comfort of Ian. And how they come back together.
