He called from about ten feet away from me. "Yup. Everything's fine," I lied. He flicked the butt of the cigarette to the concrete, putting it out with his foot. Wasn't he scared he was going to get caught? He was on school grounds.

"Where are we going?" I asked my kidnapper. He gave off a laugh, "I can't tell you that." "Please." I begged. He trailed his calloused hands down my arms and over my left cheek, "Sorry," he whispered into my ear, "but I can't." Shivers ran up and through my body, "Please." I begged one last time.
