While performing under the ring name Jerome Malice, he has won the NXT Championship and the North American Championship. But after losing both to "The Ruler" Oba Femi his young career at just the age of 23 is caught in a limbo. He is still featured every week on NXT in match after match where he is able show off his fantastic in ring skills. His matches leave the audience in awe as some would go as far to say he is a Prodigy. But despite that he is directionless in NXT, a change of scenery is needed. He is ready for the big leagues, and after a call from Triple H himself he is booked a flight to Paris on the same week Clash In Paris is happening. After hearing the details of what exactly he will be doing and who he will be working with for the foreseeable future, excitement and anticipation is the only thing that he feels. But little does the so called "Prodigy" know his whole life will be changed when he comes across the real Prodigy of the WWE.
