Rey was just an orphan girl of the streets when she came to work at the castle as a servant. Her simple life would change forever when the renegade prince, Ben was brought back to the castle. He had betrayed his parents, his kingdom and his people, Rey was normally very forgiving but she couldn't let go of the hate she felt for the prince. His parents were willing to forgive him, and give him a second chance but Rey wasn't, not after what he'd done. It was bad enough having him in the castle, it only got worse when the king and queen decided to choose a bride for their son... and they chose her. She didn't want to marry a man she had never met, one she didn't love, one she had felt nothing but hate towards for many years, but she has no choice. (This story was not originally written as a fan fiction. I originally wrote it as an original fiction, with original characters. But I wanted to share it on wattpad as a fan fiction. Rey bakes when she's stressed, but unfortunately never has enough room to finish all of her baked goods. Thus leading her to give her neighbor- who she may or may not have the hots for- her leftovers. This is filled with tropes, cliches, and possible smut. Beware of the cheesiness!

Her tone was low but it was enough for Ben to hear her response. The young girl placed her hand atop of his, steading the tremble, keeping her eyes on him. As their hands joined, both of them felt enormous energy flow through their bodies. Rey recognized it from her stay on Ahch-to. It was the balance. - 2th in Reylo Fanfic! (5/19/18)- Ben lives in a palace that couldn't be any finer, but he isn't happy there. He wants to help his soon to be people and when he gets in an argument with his mother, Leia Organa, about marriage he runs away. He wants to marry for love, not be just another king worried about his wealth and only his health. Ben poses as a begger, but runs into trouble in the make shift streets of Jakku and is saved by a young scavenger named Rey. Rey offers him shelter and he stays with her, learning about Jakku through her eyes, but leaves her when he hears of his father, Han Solo, becoming ill. Ben returns to the palace and informs his father of his new info and his father deems him ready to be the new King. Will Ben be able to make Rey is Queen against his mother's wishes and the law? Will Rey even want to be queen after finding out who Ben really is after he has lied to her then abandon her?

It wasn't a coincidence that he recognized her. She wasn't just anyone. It was Rey. His Rey. The girl that he knew since childhood. The girl he loved. The girl whom he thought was dead. The feeling in the pit of his stomach had returned, after all these years. Damn it, he still loved her. But he couldn't. Ben had loved Rey, but Kylo Ren didn't. Rey always saw something in Kylo Ren. A glimmer of the person he once was. She saw an equal on the opposite side so close, yet so incredibly far away. She knew what needed to be done. She needed to turn him but she didn't know that process would mean she fell in love with Ben Solo.
