While fighting Eggman, something goes wrong when Sonic is trapped in a machine. When he comes out he is completely different and he locks himself in his house. He only tells Tails what happened and asks him to make a machine to reverse it. Tails can't do it without the blueprints and Sonic doesn't want to be seen. They turn to Shadow to help with this problem and he agrees, on one condition. He gets explanations to why Sonic doesn't want anyone to see him and why he is getting blueprints to this specific machine...
