One of those view is Ava Thompson, she stumbled upon a tumblr post that spoke about the tales of The Continent, and the scary monsters that used to run through their very homes. For Ava, these stories were the history that was missing from their textbooks. While for Charlie Murphy, these were silly tales that were told. In no way did she believe that a manticore was real, or a vampire. All of that was extremely ridiculous. But then, one day, her best friend goes missing.

In this tale, he comes to the aid of a local village who believes a monster plagues the wood that sorround them. They ask Geralt to dispatch of this monster. He obliges. It is here he meets a young lass who, unlike the others, does not seem to fear or hate him. Alieena does not hate. Anyone. She is incapable of that emotion. Geralt of Rivia is no exception.
