Thea would say she "Isn't like other girls," if the phrase wasn't so disgustingly trendy. With a personality more salty than the Dead Sea itself, the attractive allure of a cactus, a peculiar hatred for feminist self-victimhood, and occasionally accidentally (as in totally on purpose) insults people, she is perhaps more old man than teenager. Now, taking Thea as she is and relocating her to a cliche, isolated town in Washington with supernatural creatures and a stereotypical high school makes for a rather interesting mix. Thea's perception of reality takes an insulting dive into uncertainty as the wannabe Sherlock Holmes discovers there is more to life than crappy parents, classic rock, and the TV show Supernatural. Stay tuned as Thea comes rifle barrel-to-snout in this epic journey to survive senior year, mythical creatures, and Feelings(TM). ~ ~ ~ Subscribe to TheAllieL Patreon for exclusive stories and content not featured on Wattpad and to support future works and book publishing! - Free Subscriber Tier - Allie's Library - Tier 1 - $2/month - Allie's Journal - Tier 2 - $5/month Subscribe here: Patreon.com/TheAllieL

"I've been taught that girls have no value, and he's the only one who assures me that I do." Soleil is a girl. A young woman. A female. She couldn't hate it more, because in her society that cursed gender makes her expendable. The war that was wrought on Earth years ago destroyed society, and men almost went extinct. Repopulation is the propriety, even if it means marrying a man with 8 other wives to become a baby making machine. When she meets an enormous alien man through a window, she slowly comes to realize that she is meant for more. She sneaks away every night after that to meet him, finding herself falling for all 7 feet of him.... even if she can't understand a thing that he says. Fray has come from Rytaria to collect human females, the salvation of his race. As soon as he meets his precious Soleil, he knows he has to have her. Little does she know that Fray will do whatever it takes to make her his mate, and he will worship the very ground she walks on.
