As the song ended, Mandy leaned in, her thin arms wrapped around my neck and kissed me on the lips. And it wasn't even a little peck, it was full out French kiss. She wasn't holding anything back. I heard someone yell and some cheering as we continued to kiss. "Aww Hell yeah!" I heard Curtis Matthews, the football team's quarterbacks yell. I guess that was the first time he ever saw two girls kiss in public. Eventually she pulled away and then walked off the 'dance floor.' She lead me with her, her fingers entangled in mine. Then she started to walk towards the stairs. My heart began to race as I realized what was about to happen. I heard some more cheering coming from the male section. I looked down the stairs to see Jared standing there, looking up at me, a look of shock on his face. He shook his head and then disappeared into the crowd of people. Most people think that vampires are ruthless blood-sucking creatures. I thought so too, before I became one. Now I'm not so sure. Now, I'm starting to believe what they tell me about their purpose. This is my life, and First Death. Read on, and know that what I transcribe is the truth as it happened to me. My name was Clara. Now it is Klarae. Call me either one, I am beyond caring.
