Highschool/Soulmates AU The Novak's and Winchester's live in a world where everything is grey, up until you meet your soulmate, at which point they'll be able to see colours. It all seems pretty simple, unless you don't know who you met. Dean and Castiel met drunk at a party, waking up with no memory but colours everywhere. They have no idea who they met but Castiel is determined to find his soulmate. Dean however is not exactly enthusiastic about the idea of soulmates. Sam, the 'perfect' student, gets a bit bored and ups his small pranks to starting a war with the schools renowned Trickster. Of course, Gabriel has no idea who this guy is but that doesn't stop the war between them. And so without meaning to, the two start to know each other quite well.

In a world where Alpha's rule and Omega's obey; the King-In-Waiting Dean Winchester must find an Omega to be his husband or wife to help him rule the kingdom. He doesn't want to get married, why would he? He was only 23 for god's sake, and his father wouldn't die in years. He preferred to go out in his dog form on runs rather than looking for an omega to fill his bed at night. The Novak's moved to the land of Lawrence from Greece because Castiel was the first Omega in their family for centuries and wanted to be taken by everyone in their land. Because Castiel was the first original Omega for centuries, Chuck and Anna named their son the Jewel of Athens, hoping to marry him off to a king of a different land instead.

Imagine a world where you have your soulmate's name tattooed on your wrist. It start to appear when you turn 13. When you meet your soulmate tattoo start to glow in the dark. You have a choice. A case comes up at a councelling retreat and Sam, Dean and Cas go to check it out. Sam snatches up the only job vacancy forcing Cas and Dean to go in as a couple. None of them expect the events that unfold (but they kinda do).

I love the idea of Destiel, that a human and an angel can move beyond the physical boundaries of the human body, and find something deeper in each other, during a time when they are both ships tossing in a chaotic sea of emotions, and at a time when their lives are absolutely falling apart. They cling to one another, each becoming the other's safe harbor. It's transcends sex, moves beyond the fact that they are both in male form. It is love in its purest form, and it is on a deep and spiritual level. The idea that someone as broken as Dean Winchester can find someone that can see past the darkest parts of himself to the light within and still love him I think is the most beautiful thing on earth.
