It was like we were playing a sick game of chess, trying to guess each others movement's and at the same time, worrying about our own. I didn't have a choice and was forced to say "Game on bitch." -------------------------------- Life for Juniper was never easy, even as a child. Her family was complicated, and she herself has always suffered from mental illneses that made her days hard enough as it was, not just for her but for her drug addict skitzophrenic father and bipolar alcoholic mother. As she kept growing up, the world around her became darker and darker until, at the age of sixteen, a man with a dark shadow and distorted, spine chilling voice infiltrated her nightmares, with the promise to bring her agony and pain if she did not do as he said. Now, Juniper is forced to act fast, for her life hangs by a thread. She must uncover the truth of her past, look past the lies of her parents and her own childhood, and fill in the blanks whilst dealing with loud voices in her head, shadows that follow her every move, and a man who she must obey in order to save her sanity, her life and herself. The question still remains, who is this strange man who threatens her very existence? Will she be able to stop him before he kills her, before he traps her in the darkness forever? Will she whistand the torture, will she handle it all? Or will she snap, will she bend and break like her father did, and his father before him? Because, after all, we are all fragile humans, there is only so much we can take. -------------------------------- * Contains swearing, may be triggering and is undergoing mayor editing . * Best Ranking: #1- Skitsofrenia #2- Alluring

//If you're reading this anywhere that is not w a t t p a d, you're reading a work stolen from me and posted elsewhere.// There is one rule the entire world follows after the Great Nature Apocalypse and that is that every person needs to wear a Paper Bag over their heads. This is to ensure the polluted air that is found to turn humans into frogs once the air hits their faces is prevented, and the material used to make paper bags is the only thing stopping that effect. But one man, Haru, always thought that that rule is stupid and had no basis, only a tale of caution told from one generation to the next. Deciding to prove that was the case, he walks out into the outside world out of the comfort of the underground bunker and took off his Paper Bag. What he finds out through this elicits a strange journey with his three other close friends (and a nuisance) in finding the origin of this 'fact', specifically, who started this entire rule. DISCLAIMER: I do not own and did not write this story. It is a copy of Original Book by Robert Louis Stevenson that I have uploaded here because it was way better to read than the PDF I was given in school. But I decided to let it stay here to help spread the book to wider audiences. Hope you enjoy. ----- Author: Robert Louis Stevenson Publisher: Longmans, Green and Co. Year: 1886 ----- It is about a London lawyer named Gabriel John Utterson who investigates strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr Henry Jekyll, and the evil Edward Hyde. The novella's impact is such that it has become a part of the language, with the very phrase "Jekyll and Hyde" coming to mean a person who is vastly different in moral character from one situation to the next. ------------
