They have no idea how powerful she is or where she's from; she's not in any system of any computer they've searched. It's almost like she'd never existed before they'd found her. But, someone out there, besides the Avengers, knows of her existence, and after receiving a series of bone chilling threats, it's apparent that this someone will stop at nothing to end it. My black hair blows across my face in simple strands quickly becoming annoying. I tuck it behind my ear allowing my brown eyes to come back into focus. "I'll say it again," my father says, his voice gruff. "I am Iron Man." Jet was your normal teenager. Well, except for the fact that she excels at mathematics and science. Oh and her father and mother run Stark Industries. What she didn't know was they are actually a part of something bigger than she could have ever imagined; the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division or just S.H.I.E.L.D. for short. Her life gets thrown for a tailspin when her father asks her to step up to the plate and become Iron Man. But will she be up to the challenge? Or will her perfect life crumble beneath her?

Agent Adeen Callum O'Sullivan is the adopted daughter of the famous Nick Fury. She's an agent of SHIELD but the council detest mutants and doesn't want her around. When Adeen signs up, she meets her hero, sees her Asgardian friend again, has to work with her ex-boyfriend, her best friend in the agency, and the man who has been her best friend since she was 12 and also has had a crush on since she was 16 years old. Will she get through this all? Can she keep this dysfunctional team together? Will rekindling emotions make her decide between the man she loves and the man who has always been there for her and has a raging monster inside of him? As one discovers new hidden abilities and attempts to utilize them while beginning to crack under pressure of her next attack, the other falls into a battle with himself about priorities and the feelings neither one of them can deny. When war is declared on Earth by an unforeseen threat, decisions will be made that will change the course of not only their own lives, but the fate of the entire world.
