When Chloe Collins gets her dream job as prison guard in one of the biggest jails in California, she realises she will be working with some of the most dangerous criminals in the world. As a naive and innocent woman, Chloe does not realise just how dangerous these men are- including Aaron King, the notorious killer and the man she can't seem to stay away from. Even with her job on the line and an intimate relationship of any sorts with a prisoner illegal, Chloe is pulled to the reserved Jailbird and his mysterious aura around prison. It also becomes ten times harder to stay away when said killer would do anything to have her too. Even behind bars, Aaron aches to have Chloe beneath him. It was forbidden but it was just too good to stay away from.

Of course I knew death was inevitable, but I didn't think it had a face... more importantly I didn't know evil had a face. I didn't know it could be so menacing, beautiful and overall enthralling.
