Lance Lightwing, an anxious college student, received a letter from a secret admirer which turns out to be from a boy. He suspected Fjord, one of his basketball teammates who sends these letters. After finding out Fjord's suicide attempt, Lance decided to stick by his side out of sympathy despite having no romantic feelings towards him.
